Dr. Bhavesh Pandya (PHD) is a primary teacher at Sanath Primary School in Deesa Taluka of Banaskantha District of Gujarat. He is a renowned national innovator, having received the Srishti Samman Award for his innovations in education methods in 2015 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi. Dr. Pandya holds multiple records, including the Limca Record (2008), India Record (2010), Asia Record (2012), and World Record (2014). His literary contributions are remarkable, with 3,268 stories, around 500 stories based on mathematics and science technology, and 400 songs, all written without using conjunct letters, setting a world record.
Dr. Pandya has been honored with the Queen Elizabeth Doctorate Honor by the British Council in 2015, London. He has worked with the Gujarat State Textbook Board since 2001, contributing to standards 1 to 10, and has been responsible for writing environmental and social science subjects for NCERT since 2008. Additionally, he has played a significant role in educational planning for Bhutan since 2014. As the coordinator of the Ignite Forum for the National Innovation Foundation, he has been instrumental in awarding children annually and securing patents for their innovative ideas.
Dr. Pandya is the founder of Gamati Nishal, a unique kindergarten using old newspapers as textbooks and 700 rainbow-based activities for educating children from standards 1 to 5. He also established Aranya Dham, a hostel for tribal boys providing free residence with education and solar electricity for 39 families, and Tapobhumi, a hostel for tribal girls providing education to 50 girls from the tribal community. His extensive contributions to education, innovation, and literature have made a significant impact on various communities and continue to inspire many.
