Tejal Dabhi is a passionate researcher and project coordinator dedicated to promoting natural, organic, and herbal products. She works closely with farmers and entrepreneurs to foster sustainable development and cultural preservation. As the founder of PrakrutikWorld and social media manager for Organizations like Matrubhasha Abhiyan & Many Brands, she blends environmental advocacy with digital outreach. She is also a core team member of WeTheYuva and mentors the Natural Farming Techniques to Mitigate Climate Change (NFTMCC) project, advancing eco-friendly agricultural practices. For the same she hosts a podcast series titled "વાતો પર્યાવરણલક્ષી ખેતીની | Conversations on Eco-Friendly Farming", produced in collaboration with the organization she is affiliated with.
Based in Ahmedabad and Chamba, Tejal actively researches indigenous arts and products, aiming to elevate local knowledge to global platforms. Through PrakrutikWorld, she promotes rural tourism, connecting Gen Z with authentic village experiences while creating livelihood opportunities for artisans and farmers. Her work delves deep into the region's rich and diverse culture, exploring the challenges faced by local communities and identifying sustainable ways to enhance their livelihoods. She uncovers the unparalleled natural beauty of these regions, also highlighting the unique traditions, handlooms, and craftsmanship that define their identity. Through this research, she aims to create avenues for community-driven development, cultural preservation, and eco-friendly tourism that empower local artisans and farmers.
With over 20 years at Sristi NGO, founded by Prof. Anil Gupta (IIM Ahmedabad), Tejal has coordinated across sectors-farmers, funding agencies, academic institutions like IIM and IIT, and government departments-often bridging language and cultural gaps. Her work spans research, technical development, IT, and editorial contributions, playing key roles in events like Sattvik, Shodhyatra, and innovation award functions. She continues to volunteer for Sristi, supporting initiatives like Prakrutik Khedut Haat to promote natural farming. Additionally, she contributes articles to various websites and blogs.
Tejal also led impactful projects at Aatmvikas, including weekly organic farmers’ markets, women empowerment programs, and cultural collaborations like Pustak-Parab. Even from Chamba, she remains actively involved, supporting community-driven development with unwavering commitment.
